Employee Engagement & Communications Manager

Sim Trava, a proud and ambitious Costa Coffee franchise, is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Employee Engagement & Communications Manager to join our People Team. This is a unique opportunity to shape the employee experience for over 700 team members across the North of England & Wales and ensure our internal voice is as strong, clear, and people focused as our values.

A bit about the role

Reporting to the People Support Director, you'll take the lead on employee engagement and internal communications. Your goal? To create a positive, connected workplace where people feel valued, informed and inspired to grow with the business.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and delivering engagement strategies and campaigns
  • Leading initiatives such as recognition programmes, wellness activities and team events
  • Managing employee surveys, analysing feedback and taking meaningful action
  • Supporting managers with practical tools to foster engagement and team morale
  • Overseeing internal communication platforms
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to bring initiatives to life across all regions
  • Being the voice of Sim Trava  ensuring messages are consistent, on-brand and people-focused

A bit about you

  • A confident communicator with strong written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Experience in employee engagement, internal communications or HR
  • Strong interpersonal skills – able to build relationships at all levels
  • Analytical thinker with the ability to turn data into insight
  • Well-organised with a sharp eye for detail
  • CIPD Level 5 (or working towards) is desirable
